Because every remodel is entirely unique, our team brings creative problem solving to every stage of the collaboration with homeowner and architect. Our specialized systems are designed to root out potential construction issues before it’s time to lift a hammer, because we care about giving you a remodel experience that is seamless as possible.
Over the years we have developed a process that we call DesignAssist: the Jeff King & Company system for marrying your aspirations with your real life house, budget and schedule. By bringing us in at the early pre-construction phase, you will get the most value out of our relationship, including:
- Defining strong tripartite partnership between client and design teams
- Accurate cost and schedule projections
- Consulting on constructability and permitting at every phase
We pride ourselves on understanding the intent of the design team and providing solutions that are in alignment with each party’s goals. Page turns with architects, site visits with subcontractors and exploratory demolition are a few of our best practices for supporting the development of final drawings. We are so confident in DesignAssist that we will credit up to 100% of the costs back to you – that’s how much we value the process of looking deeply into your drawings, budget and schedule before construction begins.
At project kickoff, we assign a dedicated Site Supervisor and Project Manager to keep your project running smoothly and communicate clearly with you throughout the process. The Site Supervisor is responsible for all daily management of the building process and is supported by the Project Manager for administrative support. The entire team is overseen by our seasoned Director of Production as a third and final set of eyes on all production. Every week this team will meet with you and your architect on site to review progress and reiterate expectations.
We use only the finest local craftsmen and subcontractors, providing them with clear contractual agreements and daily on-site supervision. Finally, the detailed craftsmanship of our field staff is supported by clear operating procedures, comprehensive accounting, and the application of sound business practices at every level of the company.
We’re here for you long after your remodel is completed. At project closeout, every Jeff King & Company client receives a Warranty and Service Manual along with ongoing support from our warranty mechanic.
Our Special Projects Division (SPD) is now available to all past clients, many of whom opt to keep us under contract for long-term home maintenance. SPD has defined procedures for performing scheduled maintenance, while our Director of Special Projects is on call to help with any special projects you may need. When you work with Jeff King & Company, you work with a team that is here for you as long as you live in your home.
