At Jeff King & Company, Inc., every project is a process of collaboration. We approach the process as one of building not only your home but also a long-term relationship
with you.

Design Phase
       Initial Meeting 
       Our process begins with meeting you to gain an understanding of your vision for
         your home and to explore the scope of work of your project.
        •  We provide you with a referral to an architect or other design professional
              if needed and desired.
       •  We provide you with a list of past clients and encourage you to contact them.

       Preliminary Estimate
        •  When Preliminary Plans and Specifications are available, we prepare
              a Preliminary Estimate of your project’s cost.
        •  Price is a very important consideration, but the value we bring to your project
              is not defined solely by the cost of the work. This is reflected by our policy
              of offering negotiated bids rather than competitive bids.

       Preconstruction Agreement
       Once you have accepted our Preliminary Estimate we are ready to sign a
         Preconstruction Agreement which:
        •  Initiates our participation in design meetings to provide input regarding
              budget considerations, construction methods and materials,
              and value engineering services.
        •  Secures your project’s place in our schedule.
        •  Culminates in Final Estimate and Construction Contract based on complete
              Plans and Specifications for your project.

Construction Phase
        Project Management
        •  From founder Jeff King through every member of the field crew, Jeff King
              and Company is composed of highly experienced professionals dedicated
              to efficiency, fine details, and superior craftsmanship.
        •  Your project will be assigned a Project Manager who will be responsible for
              managing your project and communicating with you throughout the
              construction process.
        •  Your project will have a fully dedicated on-site Lead Carpenter, responsible for
              day-to-day operations.
        •  Your Project Manager and Lead Carpenter will meet with you and your architect
              weekly on site to ensure a smooth course of construction.

        Subcontractor Relationships
        •  Our extensive experience as building contractors gives us the knowledge
               and ability to find, qualify, and supervise the finest local craftsmen.
        •  We provide our Subcontractors with clear contractual agreements and
              daily on-site coordination and supervision to ensure the quality and efficiency
              of their performance.
        Office and Company Management
        •  The excellent work of our field staff and our Subcontractors is supported by clear
              standard operating procedures company-wide, effective accounting procedures,
              and the application of sound business practices at every level of
              company management.

Post-Construction Phase
        •  Once your project is completed we will provide you with a manual containing
              all manufacturer’s warranties and maintenance and care guidelines for
              all new installations.
        •  Well after your project is completed, Jeff King & Company will be there for you
              to ensure that all systems and installations are functioning well.
