Jeff King & Company was a proud Artisans Circle member of the 2017 San Francisco Fall Arts & Antiques Show. This new, invitation-only professional’s patron group is comprised of the best and most highly regarded artisans and craftspeople in their field. The annual SFFAS, in its 36th year, is the major fundraiser for Enterprise for Youth, a nonprofit dedicated to providing mentorships, internships, job training, and job placement for San Francisco youth.
Giving a nod to the 50th anniversary of the Summer of Love, the theme for this year’s SFFAS was Flower Power and showcased impressive designer vignettes for each of the four seasons by Jay Jeffers (winter), Pamela Babey (spring), Edward Lobrano (summer) and Kendall Wilkinson (fall). This annual design extravaganza featured premier art and antique exhibitors from the U.S., Canada, and Europe who were chosen to display their best offerings, as well as a lecture series featuring prominent industry professionals. The SFFAS kicked off October 25 with the Opening Night Preview Gala, a highlight of the San Francisco social scene. Jeff and his wife, Margot, had a great time at the gala, mixing and mingling with several top industry designers and architects, including David Armour, Geddes Ulinskas, Ian Stallings, Jonathan Rachman, Martin Kobus, Mead Quin, Stephanie Marsh Fillbrandt, Stephen Sutro, Tineke Triggs, and many others.
We were honored to be a part of this distinguished group of leading artisans and look forward to next year’s Show.
