What does it mean to be a builder? At Jeff King & Company, our work values extend beyond the job site: we also care about the communities we impact. The JK&CO Cares program is our response to the people in our community who need extra support to build a better future.
In 2016 we participated in Canstruction (our team raised $3,174 for the SF-Marin Food Bank!) and ran two of our own holiday campaigns: a Thanksgiving food drive to benefit the SF-Marin Food Bank and a December toy drive to benefit the SF Firefighters Toy Program. The Food Bank is Jeff’s favorite charity organization and is responsible for 100,000 meals (60% of which is produce) per day. The SF Firefighters Toy Program, the nation’s oldest program of its kind, is also high on our list. Dependent solely on donations, the Toy Program helps individual families, as well as community organizations, shelters for women & children, inner-city schools, children’s cancer centers and pediatric AIDS units.
